You’re never to old to be what you want to be. I decided at the age of 48 to become an actor. With the support of my wife and kids, I went to University and gained my degree. I have worked on TV, Film, Theatre and even directed a short film.

A short film that was written and directed by the fabulous Marie Haynes and produced by Goldmyne Films. The story of a tormented daughter who visits the graves of her deceased mother and father. He father appears to her and tries to give her some advice.

Born in the North East and brought up in Cumbria, Gary grew up in adverse poverty, and wasn’t given many opportunities as a child. thankfully a local arts company (Limited Appeal ) was given funding to take theatre to the small towns in Cumbria, encouraging the local community to get involved. Gary went along and this is where his taste for the arts was born….
